The Hushpad will dampen, and reduce the sound levels on all Standard Vitamix models. Better than a sound enclosure for the Vitamix, the SHUSHpad allows you full access to the container and lid, while making the pitch and volume of the Vitamix motor more pleasant!

Not sure if you have a Standard model? Look at the picture below. If your model looks like the one on the left, (the shape of the motor base – not the controls) you have a Standard, and the SHUSHpad will work on it! The Next Generation Vitamix models are made with “suspended” motors advertised to be 40% quieter by design. The Hushpad does not fit on a Next Generation model.

I read that the hushpad was discontinued. Seeing it advertised here makes me wonder if there’s somewhere you know that these are still available. Can you tell me anything about how to access and order a couple of them?

Hello Stacey, unfortunately the hushpad is no longer for sale. This “might” be a temporary situation. Check back in a few months to see if it is available for sale again.

Hello Tom, I believe it was $29 (or $29 and change).
This is exactly what I need with a baby in the house! I know people have wanted/needed something like this for a long time, so it’s great that they finally made one for who can’t afford or don’t want to upgrade to the quieter next generation machines.
I’m so excited about this new product! I asked you a few weeks ago about reducing the noise and I wasn’t too happy about the price tag on the blender cover.
